RHHS Senior Scholarship Recognition Ceremony

Last week Rockwall-Heath High School held their RHHS Senior Scholarship Recognition Ceremony where they announced all the local scholarships and officially named the Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

The biggest scholarship of the night was the Hawk Citizenship Award presented by the Rockwall Rotary Club.  This scholarship was awarded to the 3 boys and 3 girls from the Senior class that "best represent Heath High School."  If you were 1 of the 3 you received a $3,000 scholarship and the teacher you specified as the most influential received $2,000.  The top student gets a $15,000 scholarship!

For the girls, Brittany was one of the recipients (but did not win the top award).  Brittany selected her basketball coach (Devin Gabbard) as her most influential teacher.  Brittany's friend Paige Parent won the top award.

For the boys, Reese Wilson (Brittany's boyfriend) won the top award!  Brittany's friend Mason Taylor also won one of the awards.

Then came the big announcment - the Valedictorian and Salutatorian.  As expected, Reese won Valedictorian and Cullen Clark won Salutatorian.  Two very bright young men.
