The Flat Drew Project

My nephew's 2nd grade class (in Holden, Missouri) is doing a project based on the book "Flat Stanley."  Flat Stanley is a 1964 children's book written by Jeff Brown.  In the book, Stanley gets "flattened" by a bulletin board which falls from the wall. He survives and visits his friends by being mailed around in an envelope.

In this project, Drew's class made "flat" versions of themselves and mailed them to other people.  Our family got one from Drew - his name -"Flat Drew" of course.  We took pictures of Flat Drew when we went different places.

Here is Flat Drew.

Rockwall-Heath High School Prom 2014

Yesterday was Brittany's Senior Prom.  Brittany and her terrific group of friends took pictures before the dance.  Below are some pictures from the night.

Brittany and Reese were both 1 of the 3 finalists for Prom King and Queen.  Her friends Mason Taylor and Maddie Thomas won.

After the dance the kids went to After Prom at Shenanigans in Rockwall from 1:00 am until 5:30 am.  I dealt blackjack to a number of the kids.  It was a fun time.
