Max - New Addition to Helms Family & Helms Kids Try to Get Another Puppy

Shawn Jr. has been wanting to get a dog for about a year.  The girls considered getting him one for Christmas.  But, for various reasons, that did not work out.  This past week, Shawn Jr. came back from Waco for his spring break.  While he was here, we learned that the Wheelers (good friends of ours who breed dogs) had a new batch of puppies.  They are Miniature American Shepherds.   After some debate, Shawn decided to get one and picked out Max.  Max is 9 weeks old and he is a cutie.    

So, now that they have had a touch of Max for a few days, the other Helms kids are on a mission to get a new puppy.  I have been emphatically saying no to a new dog for many months.  Our family is not good with pets.  I mean - like bad with pets.  We have had some really bad luck.  That is too long of a story to discuss here.  Our kids forget, but I have a long memory.

Anyway, the kids got together and created the following presentation.  They streamed it to one of our TVs and Skylin presented it.  It was actually really good.  It almost worked...
