Noelle Attends a Quinceañera

Noelle recently attended a quinceañera for her friend Gabby Villa.  Her and a group of her friends were in the ceremony and did a dance.  A quinceañera is the celebration of a girl's 15th birthday in many parts of Latin America. This birthday is celebrated differently from any other as it marks the transition childhood into adulthood.  They are quite an elaborate affair.

College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska

This past weekend I attended the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.  I watched University of Virginia beat Ole Miss 2 to 1 with a walk-off double in the bottom of the 9th inning.  It was high drama and a terrific atmosphere.  This year there are 3 Texas teams in the mix - TCU, Texas Tech and UT.  However, it looks like Virginia is the team to beat.  They look to be loaded.
