Helms Girls Club Volleyball

Over the past couple weeks, Noelle and Triniti tried out and signed with their club volleyball teams.  For those of you that know that process, you know that it can be a stressful process.  

Triniti signed with Club Vertical.  This is the club that Noelle played for last year.  

Noelle signed with Skyline Juniors.  Skyline is one of the top 3 clubs in the DFW area.  Noelle is one of the setters on Skyline's second team at the 15s level.  This team looks to be really good and should challenge to be one of the top clubs in the DFW area.

Thanksgiving in Europe

I have been traveling a ton this year for work.  It has been hard to be away from Misty and the kids.  yesterday was particularly hard has my entire family was together for Thanksgiving - except for me.  I was in Helsinki working all day.  Obviously Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Europe so this was just like any other work day for them.

Here is Jr. cutting the turkey.  That is normally my job but with me being gone, Jr. stepped in as the "man of the house" and got it done.  

I was walking the streets of Helsinki looking for a place to have Thanksgiving dinner.  It was a nice night in the city center of Helsinki.

We eventually landed at Hard Rock Cafe for "Thanksgiving" dinner.

Noelle Helms Wins RHHS 2014 Homecoming Princess for Freshman Class

Noelle won RHHS Homecoming Princess for the Freshman class this year!  Last night her and her boyfriend, Layne Perry (who won Prince) walked the football field before the football game.

Noelle and her boyfriend won Heath Homecoming Princess and Prince in 2014 and Brittany and her boyfriend won Heath Homecoming Princess and Prince in 2011.

Noelle was so happy to see Brittany who flew in from college.
