Caterpillar to Butterfly Project

Over the past 2 weeks, Misty and the kids have been raising caterpillars.   After about a week the caterpillars formed chrysalis.  About 2 more after that they became black swallowtail butterflies.  It was a fun project.

Loan Star Classic National Qualifier

New York, London & Paris Trip

Misty and I recently took a trip to London and Paris, flying through New York.  It was a crazy week long trip seeing many sites.  We had a great time.  Below are a few pictures.

A version of the Statue of Liberty made shortly after our version in New York.  This is near the Grenelle Bridge in Paris.  It looks southwest, downriver along the Seine and is only 37 feet 9 inches high.

Notre Dame Cathedral.

This was incredible - a presentation of the Holy Crown of Thorns that was on Jesus’s head during the crucifixion!  Misty and I got to touch the case.  Don’t believe it exists - Google it.  It is held at Notre Dame Cathedral and goes on display periodically.
