Triniti Breaks Her Arm!

A few days ago Triniti broke her arm! While playing basketball she managed to break her ulna bone - the little bone on the wrist. The good news is she will only need to be in a cast for about 4 weeks.

Turning 38 - My Life is Half Over!

In 5 minutes, Finland time, I turn 38. According to this story in the Washington Post the average life expectancy for a United States man is 75.4 years. Therefore the average half way point in my life is 37.7 years. That means, as of 5 minutes from now, my life is half over!

Noelle's First Day of School

Monday, August 27th was Noelle's very first day of school! If you read this blog you likely know that we homeschool our children. However, they always go to public school starting in middle school. Today is Noelle's first day of 7th grade and her first day of school EVER. If you have children, this of this as the first day of kindergarten.

Here are my three oldest children. This was Shawn Jr.'s first day of high school and the start of Brittany's junior year. Oh man! Where have the years gone. Misty and I are lucky to have such wonderful children.
