On Saturday Triniti had a birthday party celebrating her 9th birthday. In typical Helms family fashion, we were running around Saturday morning pulling together last minute arrangements. Triniti had a great mix of friend attend. Some homeschool girls, some gymnastics friends and several kids from our neighborhood. It was a great group.
Because my family seems to turn everything into a competition, the first part of the birthday party was a series of outdoor games. A water balloon toss, egg toss, egg race, wheel barrow race, crab walk and musical chairs. I think the girls had a good time. For the second part of the party, everyone swam and played in the pool and just goofed around.
